GE''s " insourcing " of appliance manufacturing to the U.S. GE''s insourcing is actually quite similar. Then at the end of 2007 the housing market crashed. We can have engineering work more closely with production. I see it differently: as a "NUMMI deja vu" story. So, how did GE do it?
