On Creative Accounting: Two Creativity Myths

Two myths about creativity underlie the squeamishness: First, that creativity is morally, ethically good. An idea, behavior, or product is creative if it is both novel and appropriate to some goal. So, by definition, creativity is morally neutral. Second, that certain arenas of human activity are off-limits to creativity.
