Companies Collect Competitive Intelligence, but Don’t Use It

The second requirement is to anticipate response to your competitive moves so that they are not derailed by unexpected reactions. Specific competitor information is another $2 billion. Instead, management implicitly assumes the information is being used, and used optimally. That’s just common sense, too.
