One exception to this is Eliyah Goldratt’s The Goal and after an initial reading of Grivas and Puccio’s The Innovative Team: Unleashing Creative Potential for Breakthrough Results , I may have another exception. The Innovative Team is a business fable and, like most, it is a fast read. The Innovative Team borrows a lot from the FourSight model, a method for assessing preferences and building a team for creative problem solving.

How do I approach team building ; as a scientist? In what ways might I serve to create a bridge for teams and managers to understand their view and use that to achieve results? When working one on one coaching a manager through successes, challenges and workable goals , how would I illustrate humbleness while being arrogant to have the conviction to develop the needed knowledge? How might I work with a team and people to be ‘humbly arrogant’?
