That kind of zero-sum game is for cowards, and in the end, we all pay the price for this type of latent, toxic leadership. Leading people in risky environments is not a game with a reset button, a golden parachute, or a bailout clause. Risk has faces and names. Leaders need to role model the character they want to see in others.
