In the paper, David Deming, an assistant professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, explains that since the ‘80s, job and wage growth has been strongest in occupations requiring both high cognitive and high social skills. One reason, Deming explains, is because computers are still bad at simulating social interaction.
