Resilience and adaptability became part and parcel of what many businesses had to do during the pandemic. Having a strong leadership mindset and being a humble leader is about allowing people to manage themselves. Take work ethic, for example. Pivoting in a way that allows you to adapt becomes much easier.

Female leaders need to recognize that taking time off is part and parcel of taking proper care of themselves. I know of the CEO of a company who takes Fridays off during winter as “personal ski days.&# He doesn’t ask, he just does. A burned out leader is useless.
