Resilience and adaptability became part and parcel of what many businesses had to do during the pandemic. Take work ethic, for example. Model the right behaviors by engaging in leadership training and sharpening your skills. Pivoting in a way that allows you to adapt becomes much easier.

Female leaders need to recognize that taking time off is part and parcel of taking proper care of themselves. I know of the CEO of a company who takes Fridays off during winter as “personal ski days.&# He doesn’t ask, he just does. A burned out leader is useless.
