When I came into ministry it was after a long business career, so I’m sometimes considered unique in my involvement or interest in our church finances. Working with different churches over the years, I’ve seen lots of approaches by pastors in this area of finances.

3 challenges for every church planter: Finances. I really do. It is great if a “mother” church can support your budget or you get numerous churches to contribute. If they have their money on the line they’ll do almost anything to make the plant work. I learned this principle in a practical way.
