He was, and still is, my Myers-Briggs Type Indicator mentor as I was learning my way around that instrument. Not that the eight steps makes it sounds easy, but it gives the impression that the information is organized in an easy to understand fashion. I like the idea that leadership success can be broken down into eight skills.
