I recently ran a Moose-on-the-Table workshop for a major division of a large company going through the wrenching change of a wholesale restructuring and totally refocusing their business. Consensus – made by the entire team as a group either through “majority rules” or unanimous agreement.

All this represents a considerable turn away from anything resembling a Washington Consensus and towards a more highly managed system favoring preferential terms for developing countries and redistribution over competition and efficiency. It means recognizing that not everyone is, at the end of the day, a neo-liberal.
