On Sunday, I took 75 pictures; because of a light wind and the sun’s travels across the sky, perhaps five of those were true &# keepers&#. The movement of the sun as I’m waiting for the wind to die down can change the perfect shadows on the object I’m capturing, sending it into darkness, rendering the shot useless.

Folks need to understand you are really no different than them, you are just at a different place at a different time along your career path and therefore have a different role right now. Tell them what you did this weekend, talk about your kids and hobbies. Good stuff. This greatly extended commute times to work.
