Also worth noting is that there is certainly a difference between value engineering and arbitrary cost containment. A brand is defined by how OTHERS perceive you/your company (yeah that's what it really is, not what you as brand creator think it is) and design goes a long way to influence perception. I Think Not.

It was a pain by then but during the rest of my career that mentality has stuck with me and I found that its always easier comming up with the simple solution in the first place rather than dealing with complex workflows until you have had enough and go back to simplify it. Interestingly enough, I think your example of Google is a great one.

While anyone can have a social media presence, not everyone possesses social media influence. You might have something to say, but without influence, nobody will be listening.
