While being motivated solely by conquest may allow you to achieve a stated goal or objective, the cost will be great.

I can sum-up my feeling on this in one word… ridiculous. However CEOs that implement a well thought out and clearly articulated vision, create a sense of stability and a bond of trust amongst the ranks. So maybe the voice of the person with IT gifts comes through in e-mails or other means rather than taking up meeting time.
