A family-owned business for more than 60 years, the company has 13 operating entities throughout North America and is headquartered in Ashtabula, Ohio. Fortunately, on December 28, 2017 MFG of South Dakota was granted a reprieve, of sorts, as a new order was received that will sustain operations into the third quarter of 2018.

Too Much Innovation? I have the privilege recently to work with a technology company that has one of their three core values as innovative. Are we too innovative? Sometimes, because it is a true operating value. An operating value is something we do without thinking about it.

If you don’t have direct competition you’ll surely have indirect competition. You will also be competing to retain talented employees that other companies would like to lure away.
