3 Questions To Ask If You Want To Build Integrity

Joseph Lalonde

I was recently reading an excerpt from John Maxwell’s book Developing the Leader Within You. In one of the chapters, he writes about the difference between image-building and integrity-building. Resource Conflicts Fuels Support For Far-Right Parties

The Horizons Tracker

In a recent article , I wrote about research showing that support for populists rose in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. Such crises tend to create clear divisions between an in-group and out-groups, with defenders of the in-group tending to be vocal defenders of resources that they suggest are being taken by the out-group. This was reaffirmed in a second study from the University of Michigan, which found that the competition for resources was key to determining support for populists.

Eric Jacobson

Extreme Teams is a fascinating book by Robert Bruce Shaw , where he takes you inside top companies and examines not just great teams (your more “conventional” teams), but extreme teams. According to Shaw, extreme teams : View work as a calling —even an obsession. Value members’ cultural fit and ability to collectively produce results.
