CEO Turnover Rate Has Hit a Record High

According to a new study by Strategy&, the consulting arm of PwC, CEO turnovers reached 17.5 percent last year, the highest since the inception of the survey in 2000. For the first time in the study’s history, more CEO departures were due to misconduct and ethical lapses than for financial performance or board struggles.
